Different types, same efficiency
Depending on their functionality, it is possible to distinguish between different types of hydraulic pistons:
– Single-acting. These are the simplest ones, acting with a linear sequence of movement. In fact, they are connected to the hydraulic unit using just one tube.
– Double-acting. They are connected to the through two pipes, fed and controlled from both directions.
– Telescopic. Telescopic oleodynamic cylinders can reach high extension lengths, with up to four of them in compact sizes.
It is therefore necessary to carefully choose the type of hydraulic piston to be used, taking into account the technical and structural characteristics of the machine in question and those of the sector of application.
